The Calloway combines three materials in one chair: a teal upholstered body, a dark walnut-tone timber frame that wraps the back, and slim brass-tone metal arm rails that loop from the back post down to the seat rail. A narrow brass fretwork inlay runs down the timber spine on the outer back.
Construction. Solid hardwood frame with the back panel set between the timber uprights and a separate headrest section above. The arm rails are metal tubes in a brass-tone finish, bolted into the frame with sleeved ends wrapped in leather-look cover. The seat is a deep upholstered cushion with piped edges on tapered square legs.
Where it works. Hotel fine dining, Chinese banquet restaurants, private rooms and VIP areas where the host chair needs to stand out. The open metal arms keep the armchair from feeling heavy.
Options. Upholstery in any contract vinyl or leather; frame in walnut, natural or black; arm rails in brass-tone, black or bronze finish; fretwork inlay or plain back. Brass-tone finishes are typically a coating over steel; ask us for the finish sample before ordering.
