The Ellis is a fully wrapped tub chair: the back curves around into low arms in one continuous upholstered shell, with subtle vertical shaping on the inside back and a cognac welt running along the top edge. Slim tapered legs in a brass tone keep a generous chair from looking heavy.
Construction. Plywood and hardwood shell frame, high-resilience foam with a softer top layer on the inside back, and a seat cushion on a solid pan. Legs are plated or powder-coated steel, bolted into a reinforced base plate.
Specifying for restaurant use. Wool-look fabrics are comfortable and warm but should be specified at heavy-duty contract abrasion levels, with a stain-resistant finish where the mill offers it. We will review the fabric spec with you before production.
Where it works. Hotel restaurants, cocktail lounges serving food, private dining, and lounge zones within restaurants. The Ellis Tub Counter Stool continues the same shape at counter height.
Options. Any contract fabric, vinyl or COM; welt color; leg finish brass-tone, black or bronze.
