The Foundry Welt Side Chair is our default answer to the question, "What goes on the other side of the booth table?" It is a fully upholstered side chair with a contrast welt outlining the back and seat, a back reclined 8 degrees for comfort through a full meal, and a 0.6 in (1.5 cm) reveal between back and seat so crumbs fall through instead of collecting.
Construction. Upholstered seat and back on an inner frame, carried on black steel legs of 1 in (2.5 cm) square section. High-resilience foam throughout, with a removable seat for recovering.
Fixed numbers. Seat height 18 in (46 cm), overall height 33.5 in (85 cm), seat width 18.5 in (47 cm), seat depth 19.3 in (49 cm). That puts it about 11-12 in below a 29-30 in table top, the comfortable range.
Where it works. Opposite banquettes and booths, all-day dining, hotel restaurants and cafes.
Options. Bouclé, contract fabric, vinyl or COM; welt in contrast or matching color; leg powder coat in black, bronze or any RAL color.
