The Arden is an open wooden armchair built around one curved rail. The rail starts at a front leg, rises into an arm, sweeps around behind the back at the same height and comes down to the other front leg. Inside that hoop sits an upholstered back pad and a thick seat cushion in cream bouclé, both edged in tan piping.
What you see. A side view on a soft grey ground: walnut frame, angled back legs, slim front legs with a slight rake, and the seat sitting on a rail frame with a visible gap below.
Where it works. Hotel restaurants, wine bars, café-lounges and private dining, where a dining chair should feel generous enough for a long meal without the bulk of a fully upholstered tub chair.
Construction. Solid hardwood frame in walnut finish, the hoop rail laminated or bent and joined into the legs with mortise-and-tenon joints, plywood seat pan with high-resilience foam, and a back pad fixed to the frame.
Options. Walnut, oak or black stain; bouclé, fabric, vinyl or leather (COM/COL accepted); piping color.
