The Ellis Tub Counter Stool wraps the sitter the way a lounge chair does, which is why guests stay at the counter for a second drink. The upholstered tub back curves around the sides, a mustard welt traces the top edge, and dark walnut legs with a brass-tone footring keep it grounded.
Construction. Plywood shell with high-resilience foam, fully upholstered; solid hardwood legs fixed into a reinforced seat base, with a metal footring set into the legs. The low wrap back gives support without blocking the view along the bar.
Fabric choice. Bouclé is soft and photogenic but holds crumbs in its loops; for heavy-use counters we suggest a tighter-weave contract fabric or vinyl in a similar color, or a removable seat cover. We will advise on the cover when we draw your stools.
Where it works. Hotel bars, wine bars, cafe counters and kitchen-counter seating in upscale casual restaurants. It continues the Ellis Tub Armchair shape at height.
Options. Counter 24-26 in (61-66 cm) or bar 30 in (76 cm) seat height; fabric, vinyl or COM; welt color; leg finish.
